Reinier Schlatmann



Reinier has over 20 years of professional experience in the areas of general management, marketing & sales, finance, M&A, and change management leading teams in mature and emerging markets.

Since November 2016 Reinier is CEO of Philips Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). Based in Warsaw, Reinier oversees 19 countries, including Poland, Romania, and the Czech Republic.

In CEE, he successfully led multiple (digital) transformations including the creation of a strong direct-to-consumer and direct-to-patient channel (via M&A) with a strong focus on people, go-to-market and new business models, more than doubling the Philips business in four years.

Before moving to CEE, Reinier was responsible for Philips Healthcare in the Middle East, CEO of Philips Ukraine, Caucasus & Central Asia, and Area Marketing Officer of Philips Nordics & Baltics. He also worked as Product Marketing Director in Personal Care, Corporate Finance Manager Asia Pacific, and has been with Philips since 2004.

Reinier also worked in Venture Capital and started his career in Strategy Consulting.

He is 48 years old and graduated from the Erasmus University Rotterdam in 1998 with a masters’ degree in Business Economics. He also completed Business Valuation at Rotterdam School of Management, an Executive Leadership Program at Wharton Business School as well as at MIT, completed the Advanced Management Program (AMP), and is currently enrolled in the International Directors Program both at INSEAD.
